Rev. Dr. Dana Allin is ECO’s Synod Executive. Dana formerly served as the President of the board of ECO, the pastor of Indian River Presbyterian Church in Fort Pierce, FL and the pastor of Christ Presbyterian Church in Lakewood, CA. Dana attended Fuller Seminary, where he received both an MDiv and a DMin. He also has a BS in Microbiology from University of California, Santa Barbara and is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation. Dana's passion to encourage and inspire leaders has led him to develop both the Missional Leader Training program and the Coach Certification Process. He lives in Santa Barbara with his wife, Beth and their three children, Micah, Peyton and Piper.
Kim Davis was raised in Santa Barbara, CA and attended Westmont College where she received her BA in Sociology and Communications. She has worked since graduation in church administration, children’s ministry, operations and event management as well as many years in education. She has served as a volunteer in her local church in every capacity from youth leadership and women’s ministry, to small group leadership and serving with her husband on her church’s elder board. She and her husband have two children. As a family, they love spending time doing anything outdoors and cooking good food. Kim is the Assistant to the Synod Executive and helps facilitate many of the ministry resources associated with Flourish.
John is a former Wall Street executive and New York native. He graduated from Boston University with a degree in Business Administration and is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation, and a Commissioned Lay Pastor in ECO. Having been in ministry for the last 10 years in Palm City Florida, John also attended Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and is currently completing his degree at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. He is married to Patty Terech and they have 3 children, John III, Joseph, and Lindsay.
Patty Terech was born and raised in Central New Jersey. She began working in the financial industry in New York City at the very young age of 18. She met husband, John, at a financial firm and the two were married in 1999. In April of 2005 John and Patty Terech moved from New Jersey to Palm City, Florida, and during their first week in the city, visited Palm City Presbyterian Church. They loved it immediately. Patty volunteered at the church for two years before accepting a position as Director of Volunteers and eventually Office Administrator. Patty served at Palm City Presbyterian Church for 7 years. Patty is thrilled to have joined the ECO team.
Nate has been serving the church for more than twenty years. He has served on the staffs of First Presbyterian Church (Jerome, ID), Walla Walla Presbyterian Church (Walla Walla, WA), First Presbyterian Church (Berkeley, CA) as well as serving as elder at First Presbyterian Church in Santa Rosa, CA and Gridley, CA. Nate attended Fuller Seminary, where he received both an MDIV and MACCS. He also has a BS in History from California State University Sonoma and an AA in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Butte Community College. Nate is passionate about growing, developing, and nurturing churches and leaders to be healthy and flourishing. Nate is married to Cari and they have four children - Gabrielle, Jackson, Charis, and Elise.
Maja has lived in Santa Barbara, Ca most of her life. She graduated from Westmont College with a BA in Psychology. She has worked and served in the Santa Barbara Community for over 30 years. Her focus and heart has included: loving her family, serving her church, discipleship of younger women, working with at risk youth and people in addiction. She has held employment with Westmont College, the SB Rescue Mission, Teen Court and the Council of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse before joining the ECO Synod staff. Maja has been married for 25 years to Steve and has two children. Her son Peter is a student at Cal Poly, SLO and her daughter, Stacia is at San Diego State.
Skye Coleman is the Executive Administrator for ECO. Originally from Palm Springs (CA), she attended Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA where she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics and Business. She manages all applications that come through the ECO office and provides the first line of support for churches and pastors considering ECO. She also handles all records and administers training for others within ECO’s database system. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, playing beach volleyball, and spending time with family and friends.
Shelby Goss was born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO, and graduated from California Baptist University in May of 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. Shelby is the Financial Administrator at ECO, doing the day-to-day tasks of accounting. Shelby’s hobbies and activities include hiking and being outdoors. She also enjoys reading and traveling.
Rev. Anna W. Kent has been a part of ECO since its inception and currently serves as the Director of Mission Affinity Groups. She served as Pastor of Central Presbyterian Church in Waxahachie, Texas, from 2008-2011 after graduating from Princeton Theological Seminary with a MDiv. Prior to following God’s call to ordained ministry, Anna worked in executive recruiting, fundraising, event planning, and membership development for various for-profit and non-profit organizations. Anna grew up in Longview, Texas, and received a B.A. in history from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘em Horns!) and a MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She resides in Huntsville, Alabama, with her beloved husband, Mark (who has turned her into an Alabama Crimson Tide fan - Roll Tide!) and enjoys being called “Fairy Stepmother” by Mark’s precious daughters, McLaine and Maddie.
Rev. Jennifer Haddox previously served as the associate director of World Mission Initiative at Pittsburgh Seminary. She is passionate about inviting others into God's global purposes with experience leading short-term mission trips, coordinating and teaching Perspectives classes, and providing mission resources and teaching for congregations. Jen, her husband, Mike, and two sons recently moved to Jerome, ID where Mike pastors an ECO church. Raising two active toddlers, they don’t have free time! But, they all enjoy playing outdoors, camping, and spending time as a family.
Rev. Lisa Johnson grew up in Orange County, California and received her BA in Communication Studies at Westmont College. She received her Masters of Divinity at Princeton Seminary and was ordained in 1999. She has ministered at five different churches in New Jersey, Santa Barbara, Orange County and San Diego as an Associate Pastor. She has a passion for teaching, discipleship, leadership development and spiritual formation. She is so excited to join the ECO staff in this new capacity. Most recently, Lisa was the Director of ELI (Elder Leadership Institute). Lisa currently lives in Coronado, California with her husband and two children (ages 11 and 13).
Rev. Beth Allin has a Masters of Divinity from Fuller Seminary and a BA in Sociology from Westmont College. Her favorite part of ministry is being able to be on the journey with people and point them toward Christ. Beth is currently the National Gathering Coordinator for ECO. She lives in Santa Barbara, CA, with her husband Dana and their three kids.
Mandy grew up in Lake Tahoe and attended Westmont College, majoring in English and minoring in Religious Studies. She has spent time volunteering in the Middle East, working in Christian publishing and curriculum writing, and teaching ESL. She recently completed a Masters in Global Leadership through Fuller Seminary School of Intercultural Studies, and is passionate about connecting the local church with the global church. Learning what our amazing God is doing around the world, keeping up with family and friends, adventuring with her teenage son, welcoming internationals, walking her dog at the beach, and swimming in lakes fills her up.
Greg has served on ECO’s Theology Task Force since 2015. With the call for new confessional material at the 2018 Synod, Greg is coordinating the writing, editing, and production of ECO’s Confessional Standards, and its accompanying resources. He has a PhD in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Bristol (UK), and is a published author. He taught biblical languages at Trinity College, Bristol (UK), where he met his wife, Ainhoa Prieto Wagenfuhr, and served as Transitional Pastor for the United Presbyterian Church of Cañon City (2014-2017) leading the church to launch a church plant, and forming The Historic Church Conservancy of Fremont County. Greg and Ainhoa live in Cañon City, Colorado where Ainhoa directs a Christian transitional housing and recovery program called New Creations Inn.
