Rev. Dr. Dana Allin | Synod Executive

Cultivating Significance

Rev. Dr. Dana Allin is ECO’s Synod Executive. Dana formerly served as the President of the board of ECO, the pastor of Indian River Presbyterian Church in Fort Pierce, FL and the pastor of Christ Presbyterian Church in Lakewood, CA. Dana attended Fuller Seminary, where he received both an MDiv and a DMin. He also has a BS in Microbiology from University of California, Santa Barbara and is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation. Dana's passion to encourage and inspire leaders has led him to develop both the Missional Leader Training program and the Coach Certification Process. He lives in Santa Barbara with his wife, Beth and their three children - Micah, Peyton, and Piper. 

Kim Davis | Ministry Resources & Executive Coordinator

Igniting Possibilities

Kim Davis was raised in Santa Barbara, CA and attended Westmont College where she received her BA in Sociology and Communications. She has worked since graduation in church administration, children’s ministry, operations, and event management as well as many years in education. She has served as a volunteer in her local church in every capacity from youth leadership and women’s ministry, to small group leadership, and serving with her husband on her church’s elder board. She and her husband have two children, Jordan and Kelsey. As a family, they love spending time doing anything outdoors and cooking good food. Kim is the Executive Coordinator for the ECO staff and helps facilitate many of the ministry resources associated with Flourish.

John Terech | Executive Director of Operations

Manifesting Potential

John Terech is a former Wall Street executive and New York native. He graduated from Boston University with a degree in Business Administration and is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation, and a Commissioned Lay Pastor in ECO. Having been in ministry for the last 14 years in Palm City, Florida, John also attended Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and is currently completing his degree at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. He is married to Patty Terech and they have 3 children - John III, Joseph, and Lindsay.

Patricia Terech | Assistant to the Executive Director of Operations

Energizing Intercession

Patty Terech was born and raised in Central New Jersey. She began working in the financial industry in New York City at the very young age of 18. She met her husband, John, at a financial firm and the two were married in 1999. In April of 2005, John and Patty Terech moved from New Jersey to Palm City, Florida, and during their first week in the city visited Palm City Presbyterian Church. They loved it immediately. Patty volunteered at the church for two years before accepting a position as Director of Volunteers and eventually Office Administrator. Patty served at Palm City Presbyterian Church for 7 years. Patty is thrilled to have joined the ECO team. She and her husband John have 3 children - John III, Joseph, and Lindsay.

Rev. Nate Dreesmann | Executive Director of Ecclesiastical Support

Elucidating Pathways

Nate Dreesmann has been serving the church for more than twenty-three years. He has served on the staffs of small, medium, and large churches, from Berkeley, to Washington, to Idaho.  Nate has also served on the sessions of small and large churches.  Nate attended Fuller Seminary, where he received both a MDIV and MACCS. Nate is passionate about Jesus, living out the Great Commission, and helping ECO churches revitalize and plant new churches.  Nate is married to Cari and they have four children - Gabrielle-16, Jackson-14, Charis-11, and Elise-8.

Maja Greig | Assistant to the Executive Director of Ecclesiastical Support

Promoting Progress

Maja Greig has lived in Santa Barbara, CA most of her life. She graduated from Westmont College with a BA in Psychology. She has worked and served in the Santa Barbara community for over 30 years. Her focus and heart has included loving her family, serving her church, discipleship of younger women, and working with at-risk youth and people in addiction. She has held employment with Westmont College, the SB Rescue Mission, Teen Court, and the Council of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse before joining the ECO Synod staff. Maja has been married for 28 years to Steve and has two children. 

Rev. Dr. Gregory Wagenfuhr | Theology Coordinator

Reforming Imagination

Rev. Dr. Gregory Wagenfuhr coordinates ECO's two theology teams, having worked with its various teams since 2015. He is the author of Plundering Egypt: A Subverisve Christian Ethic of Economy (Cascade, 2016), Unfortunate Words of the Bible (Cascade, 2019), and Plundering Eden: A Subversive Christian Theology of Creation (Cascade, 2020). He has a PhD in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Bristol (UK). He has taught biblical languages at Trinity College, Bristol (UK), where he met his wife, Ainhoa. He is a church planter of The Embassy, a church-seminary-community pilot project. Greg and Ainoha live in Cañon City, CO where Ainhoa is a reintergration specialist with the New Horizons Ministries that fosters children of incarcerated women. She also works as an advocate for victims of domestic violence.

Skye Coleman | Executive Administrator

Perpetuating Diligence

Skye Coleman is the Executive Administrator for ECO. Originally from Palm Springs, CA, she attended Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA where she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics and Business. She oversees the administration team and is involved in the creation of ECO websites and media. Skye enjoys cooking, swimming, and being active. She lives in Goleta, CA with her husband, Patrick and their dog, Zeus. 

Taylor Woods | Administrative Assistant for Records and Ministry

Shepherding Possibilites

Taylor Woods was born and raised in Glendora, CA. She attended Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA where she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Economics & Business. She assists the ministry departments with design, processes development, and records. She also manages the many ECO email accounts and helps our churches and pastors with their application processes. Taylor enjoys spending time with her family & friends and spending her weekends at the beach. She is living in Santa Barbara after graduating from Westmont in May of 2018.

Shelby Murphy | Financial Administrator

Fostering Environment

Shelby Murphy was born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO, and graduated from California Baptist University in May of 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. Shelby is the Financial Administrator at ECO, doing the day-to-day tasks of accounting. Shelby’s hobbies and activities include hiking and being outdoors. She also enjoys reading and traveling. She lives in Colorado Springs with her husband, Jonathon. 

Rev. Jen Haddox | Director of Global Engagement

Coordinating Movement

Rev. Jen Haddox previously served as the associate director of World Mission Initiative at Pittsburgh Seminary. She is passionate about inviting others into God's global purposes with experience leading short-term mission trips, coordinating and teaching perspectives classes, and providing mission resources and teaching for congregations. Jen, her husband, Mike, and two sons recently moved to Jerome, ID where Mike pastors an ECO church. Raising two active toddlers, they don’t have free time! But, they all enjoy playing outdoors, camping, and spending time as a family.

Rev. Lisa Johnson | Director of Leadership Development

Shepherding Transformation

Rev. Lisa Johnson grew up in Orange County, California and received her BA in Communication Studies at Westmont College. She received her Masters of Divinity at Princeton Seminary and was ordained in 1999. She has ministered at five different churches in New Jersey, Santa Barbara, Orange County, and San Diego as an Associate Pastor. She has a passion for teaching, discipleship, leadership development, and spiritual formation. She is so excited to join the ECO staff in this new capacity. Most recently, Lisa was the Director of ELI (Elder Leadership Institute). Lisa currently lives in Coronado, California with her husband and two teenaged children.

Rev. Beth Allin | National Gathering Coordinator & Communication Strategist

Encouraging Identity

Rev. Beth Allin has a Masters of Divinity from Fuller Seminary and a BA in Sociology from Westmont College. Her favorite part of ministry is being able to be on the journey with people and point them toward Christ. Beth is currently the National Gathering Coordinator for ECO. She lives in Santa Barbara, CA, with her husband Dana and their three kids - Micah, Peyton, and Piper.

Stacia Greig | Assistant to the Executive Coordinator

Nurturing Connection

Stacia was born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA and is currently in the process of completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Stacia is the Assistant to the Executive Coordinator and provides technical support for our presbytery leaders. She is also our Flourishing Church Podcast producer. In her spare time, she leads Young Life in Santa Barbara and takes care of her puppy Zeke.

Rev. Andrea Messinger | National Flourishing Liaison

Encouraging Joy

Rev. Andrea Messinger served for sixteen years as Head of Staff at First Presbyterian Church of Covina in Covina, CA. She has also served on staff at Gridley Presbyterian Church (Gridley, CA), Silverlake Community Church (Los Angeles, CA), First Presbyterian Church of Honolulu (Honolulu, HI) and Stadium Village Church (Minneapolis, MN). Andrea met her husband, Rev. Dr. Thomas Messinger, at Fuller Seminary and they have two children, Tommy and Amelia, who are both married and following Jesus as they serve in their churches.

Andrea has had the blessing of using the many resources ECO offers to help churches and pastors flourish and thrive as they discern their Flourishing Next Steps. The heart of this effort is to help each partner flourish as a fully devoted, passionate follower of Jesus Christ in order to reach out with the gospel that others might become fully devoted, passionate followers of Jesus Christ.
